Summer 2026 Activities, Challenges
& Skater Fun Days
Our summer program includes much more than skating. Throughout the summer, skaters will have opportunities to take part in challenges, games, theme days, group activities, and ways to celebrate their progress.
Some activities happen every day, while others change from week to week. Check this page each week for the new theme, challenges, dress-up ideas, and anything skaters need to bring.
Our Summer Boards
β WOW Board
The WOW Board celebrates the things that make a great teammate and a strong athlete.
Coaches and staff can recognize skaters for things like effort, focus, personal progress, kindness, teamwork, leadership, and helping others.
The goal is to encourage skaters to notice that success is about more than landing a new skill. Working hard, supporting others, and being willing to try all matter too.
βΈοΈ Jump Board
Landed something new? Add it to the Jump Board!
Skaters can celebrate new jumps and jump milestones throughout the summer. Big accomplishments may also earn a special Jump Badge.
The Jump Board gives skaters a chance to see their progress build over the summer and celebrate each other's successes.
π How Do You Really Feel? Board
Training days can come with all kinds of feelings. Excited, nervous, tired, proud, frustrated, confident, or somewhere in between.
This board gives skaters a simple way to check in with how they are feeling. It encourages them to recognize their emotions, talk about them when needed, and understand that not every training day feels the same.
Weekly Theme Activities
Each week will have a new theme with fun daily and weekly challenges. Skaters can take part, collect badges, and sometimes earn prizes.
Wednesdays: Dress-Up Day
Every Wednesday will have a new dress-up theme.
Skaters can join in with a full costume, a small accessory, team colours, or their own creative version of the theme. The details for each week will be posted on this page.
Thursdays: Viral Vibes Challenge Day
Thursday is challenge day!
Each week, skaters will be given a new creative or team challenge. It could involve movement, music, skating, teamwork, a silly competition, or creating something together.
The new challenge will be posted here each week.
More Fun Throughout the Summer
Coach Invasions
You never know when a coach may show up with a surprise challenge, game, or activity. Coach Invasions are meant to keep things fun and give skaters a chance to interact with coaches in a different way.
Lunch Activities
Lunch breaks may include games, creative activities, team challenges, or other surprises. Skaters are encouraged to join in and have fun with their group.
Off-Ice Games & Challenges
Throughout the week, skaters will take part in games and challenges that encourage teamwork, movement, creativity, and problem-solving.
Badges & Prizes
Skaters will have different ways to collect badges and earn chances for prizes throughout the summer. These may include:
- participating in theme days
- completing daily or weekly challenges
- earning WOW recognition
- reaching new jump milestones
- showing leadership, kindness, or great teamwork
The focus is on participation, effort, progress, and being a positive part of the summer program.
Daily Wrap up / Cool Down / Skaters Circle
The Daily Circle is part of the summer camp day.
Skaters will come together for a short cool down, stretch, and reflection before finishing for the day. It is a chance to slow down, talk about the day, recognize accomplishments, and finish together as a group.
Please encourage skaters to take part in the full camp experience, including the group activities, challenges, and Daily Circle Cool Down. These activities help skaters build friendships, confidence, independence, and a stronger connection with their training group.
