Our Ice Show is one of the best days of the year because it’s when Halifax Skating Club (HSC) and Bedford Skating Club (BSC) come together to celebrate skating, community, and everything that makes us unique.. Same love of the sport, one shared show, and a true season finale.

This is the moment skaters remember. The music starts, the lights come up, and they step onto the ice feeling proud, brave, and part of something big. Whether it’s their first time performing or they’ve done it for years, the Ice Show is where confidence grows and our whole community gets to cheer them on. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about showing up, having fun, and sharing the joy of skating together.

We’d love to have you involved in whatever way fits:

Skaters: Join the show and be part of the experience.  -
Skaters from PreCan, CanSkate, Jr Academy, Teen, StarSkate Academy, Dance, Soloist , Graduating and Adult skaters
Volunteers: Help us run a smooth, fun event (costumes, check-in, dressing rooms, music support, ice-side help, and more).
Sponsors: Support the show and help offset costs so we can keep it affordable for families.

Looking for Volunteers!
SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER

Hello Bedford and Halifax Skating Club Volunteers,

Our Olympic-themed Ice Show is set for Sunday, April 12, and we can’t wait to celebrate the season with an exciting, high-energy event for our skaters and community!

To make this show a true gold-medal performance, we’re looking for volunteers to help in the days leading up to the event and on show day. From behind-the-scenes preparation to helping everything run smoothly during the performance, there are plenty of opportunities to be part of the action.

Ice shows are a highlight of the year for our skaters — a chance to showcase their hard work, creativity, and team spirit. It takes a strong volunteer team to bring it all together, and we truly can’t do it without you.

If you’re able to lend a hand, please sign up using the signup genius link   Please note that we will be having two shows (1 Bedford skater-focused and 1 Halifax skater-focused), if you would like to volunteer for both shows, regardless of club, please sign up for a BSC and an HSC slot.  We would love to have you!

Thank you for supporting the skaters of the Bedford and Halifax Skating Club. Let’s make this Olympic-themed show one to remember!

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us should you have any questions or if you would like to help out in another way that may not be listed on the sign-up sheet

Thank you so much for your help!

Ice Show 2026 Sponsorship

Our annual Ice Show is one of the most exciting moments of the season. It brings together skaters of all ages and levels to celebrate their progress, perform for family and friends, and share the joy of skating with our community.

For many skaters, this is their first time performing in front of an audience. It builds confidence, teamwork, and pride in everything they have worked on throughout the year. It is a special milestone in every skater’s journey.

Sponsorship helps us cover the many pieces that bring the show to life including ice time, costumes, music, lighting, and event production. Your support helps ensure every skater has the opportunity to take part in a memorable experience.
