The Halifax Skating Club is a volunteer, non-profit organization and associate member of Skate Canada. Club administration is run entirely by a dedicated group of volunteers made up primarily of parents of our skaters. The club employs professional skating coaches, certified through the National Coaching Certification Program, to deliver our skating programs.

The 1,437 Skate Canada Clubs across Canada are the best places to learn to skate or develop power and figure skating skills. All programs focus on fitness, fun, skill, development, awards and incentives while promoting the development of life skills.
